Cherating's call

Assalammualaikum..
Alhamdulillah, terima kasih Tuhan kerana memberi kami peluang untuk bersama..

Saya dan raiz bukan kawan biasa..we're like the other side of our ownself.. (kan raiz?..huu)

Semalam saya dan raiz berpeluang utk bercuti ke cherating. Saya tiba di bangi pd mlm jumaat dengan menaiki bas dan bermlm dirumah dia.. And so like her, die baru je bgtau mak die that we are going tomorrow! And malam sebelum tidur tu die baru bagitau ayah die yang we are going to borrow the car!! Gerrr! Memang geram ok! Selamat parent die tak menidakkan (dan tak juga mengiakan!).. Adeii...raiz..raiz...



Then our journey started at 10am on saturday after a lontong breakfast by raiz's mum. (so johorian).

Ok, fyi, we plan to cherating without any plan at all! Crazy kan? Huu...and exciting!
So, because of that we ended up doing things that was suddenly popped up into our mind along the journey..

This is our first stop at bentong, pahang at durian stall. We ate a rm7 durian and that was very good! After that, i found a signboard leading to chamang waterfall and we went there.

The waterfall was sooo huge! We didnt expect the waterfall is very beautiful! MashaAllah, subhanallah i never looked at that kind of waterfall my entire life! Sadly raiz refused to take a dip.. :( Geram tgk air die yg look so refreshing! we spend half and hour looking (only) at the scenery and then we continue our journey..

When the clock stroke 1pm, our stomach had already craved for food.. And we decided to stop by at temerloh for ikan patin tempoyak! After googling, we found a famous patin tempoyak stall, which is restaurant pak usop, near the big pahang river. When we reached there, the stall was already full with people and the ikan patin was already sold out! Huu.. Tapi disebabkan tak mahu terkilan sebab dah alang2 sampai, kami sanggup tunggu sejam untuk the next batch of ikan patin untuk masak! And it was really worth it! Alhmdulillah..so, this stall is recomended for all of you to try :-)..

Then we continue to kuantan.. We arrived there at about 5.15pm... Sebenarnya kitorg tak tahu pun yg cherating ni dah dekat gile dengan kemaman! Sebab pegi main redah ade smpai geografi pun xsempat nk kaji..huu...Sampai je terus terlepak sebab penat sangat drive sambil tak henti2 borak dalam kereta..

After maghrib and isya' jama' prayer, we went out to look for dinner.. according to google, there is a famous duyung restaurant nearby..however, when we went there, it was a chinese restaurant and displayed a guinesses sign. Takpelah, kami akhirnya makan di kedai bersebelahan dengannya yang lebih meyakinkan...and luckily the nasi goreng was very good.. Alhmdulillah... After dinner we went shopping a bit at the nearest stall for sourveniers and batik blause(that's for me! Hehe)..

sebenarnya, actual plan mlm tu ialah kami nk pergi spa di suria cherating tu, tp service tu xde plak..pelik betul sbb dlm web die ade kata disediakan service tu..hurm... Ok, after shopping mlm tu, kami memandu keliling cherating tanpa arah tuju..dan luckily, saya ternampak satu spa kat tepi jalan! Spa tu interior design die zaman melayu klasik..masuk je rasa mcm zmn puteri gunung ledang..dengan haruman aromatherapy nya, and musik nya... Fuh meremang bulu roma! Tp sebab i never been to a spa before, so nekad je nk try something new.. And i went for a full body massage the tradisional malay way.. Kak ju, pemilik spa tu, kata urutan ni zaman2 dulu punya..urutan org2 istana..huu..ape2 je la... Urutan die mmg relaxing, lega segala urat2 dan muscle tension..cuma raiz je tak amik apa2 sbb die dah ade appointment kat spa bangi.. But the apa mmg nmpk creapy sikit..smpai nmpk raiz baca tafsir quran smbil tunggu sesi mengurut sy abes...huu..

Ahad, 8 jan pagi..ingat nk wat morning walk sepanjang cherating beach tapi cuaca sangat mendung..dan tiba2 hujan lebat! Staf sana kata memang dah seminggu tak hujan..adei...nasib kitorg la kali ni...



so, kitorg masuk bilik dan sambung berselimut smpai pkul 9.30.. Huu.. Then decide utk cari keropok lekor utk bawa balik..kami cek out and drive ke arah kemaman..along the way mmg banyak stall jual keropok lekor, and bila tnye org kedai mana yang best, diorg kata sama je semua..huu..ape la diorg ni...kitorg pun beli keropok lekor, jelly kelapa, keropok ikan dan sos keropok lekor... Then heading back to kuantan..

Along the way, kami singgah di pantai balok..

Pantai die cantik sebab sangat landai..lagipun cuaca dah terang sikit, so boleh jalan2 tepi pantai...

After that we decided to go for a movie at alamanda putrajaya! Huu..so, we raced back and took only 2 hours to reach alamanda and managed to catch the 3.30pm sherlock holmes movie, although we were 15 minutes late..huu..but the movie was very worth to watch..

At 6.15pm, we stopped at nasi ulam presint 14 for nasi kukus and raiz sent me to tbs at around 6.45pm..

I took the 7.30pm bas to kluang... And i'm still on the bas..

Fuh.. Trip 2 hari ni mmg menjadikan hari minggu saya sangat bermakna! Doing something new, with your best friend mmg experience yang susah nk di beli...
